Katie is a biochemistry major from Cincinnati, Ohio. She loves learning languages, particularly ASL and Chinese, and writes geology exams for science competitions. Beyond school, she enjoys playing guitar, skiing, and making friendship bracelets.  

Kaushik, from Orlando, Florida, is a first-year student who is planning to major in biochemistry through the chemistry department ;) He joins the lab through the ERAS project. He will work on using hybrid Monte Carlo and Molecular dynamics to study the structure-property relationship for alloys. Outside of school, he likes to ride bike, play badminton, and take photos. 

Elizabeth is a prospective math major from Lake Forest, Illinois. She will be studying embedded atom model force fields, a topic that lies at the intersection of mathematics and chemistry. Outside of school, she enjoys baking and skiing.
